Family Beach Vacations
We usually spend a beach trip with my mom’s side of the family each year. This was Mike’s first time coming on this adventure with us.
Crystal Lake Vacation with Alex
I will never forget this last adventure I had with my cousin. We explored places we had heard our parents talk about visiting for years. We explored places we enjoyed as young children before the world and everything became so complicated.

Meeting & Marrying Mike
Mike and I talk about how much god played a huge role in our relationship. The time we met we were both in the middle of a somewhat unique time in our lives. Michael had just graduated with his biology degree and was looking for a job. I was in the middle of having taken a semester off from college. We had nothing to do but spend time together and we are so thankful to God for setting this up for us. We attribute that to why we knew we were meant to be so soon. We were only dating for 8 months when he proposed. We had spent every day together for almost 6 months in a row.
2. The day I married Mike was one of the best days of my life. I can never look back on it enough. I am always so happy and excited. It was the most beautiful day and our guests still talk about how much they enjoyed it and that brings me so much joy. Mike and I talk about how neither of us had any nerves that day. We were just happy and excited.
Becomming an Aunt
When I met Mike he already had a niece who was 6 when I met her. Fun fact she was the first one to suspect that we were going to make it the long haul. She announced at the dinner table the night I met my future in laws for the first time that “Uncle Mike never brings girls home to meet Mimi so he must really love you. That means you are going to get married and you will be my aunt.”
Payton has been one of the biggest blessings in my life.
